FX USD to GBO Conversion for Capital Gains report

Hello

I want to be able to convert all transactions that go into capital gains report by a fixed fx amount.
What is the best way to achive this?

Hello,

Can you give me an example? So, if you bought something for $100 you want to change it to something like $105? Are you trying to add the same fixed amount, or scale by some factor because if currency?

DD/MM/YY TRAN SYMB BNUM ANUM CNUM
29/06/2020 Buy ABBV 100 96.51 1.00
13/07/2020 Sell ABBV 100 98.02 1.02

Above prices in USD. Need to convert to GBP for Cap Gains. So Divide Cost & Disposal by say GBP to USD 1.4.

worst case I can fx the data before importing into FM. As I have been doing

Hi,

You can use the multiple currency feature. You can view your capital gains in either the native currency of the investment or a default currency, and you can choose both of these. See the multiple currency tutorial here:
