Sub Portfolios

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Hi Mark,

I have my Master Portfolio with sub portfolios by account. I want to create sub portfolios with individual holdings from each account by type, e.g. foreign stocks, bonds, etc. while still keeping sub portfolios by account. When I move individual holdings from account sub portfolio to sub portfolios by type, then they are no longer in account sub portfolio. How do I get both views (without double counting)?

Thanks//Cliff

Hi Cliff,

If you move an investment down 1 level in the hierarchy, it will still be included at the higher level, but just not directly in that level. You don't want it in both, or else it will be counted twice. Watching the Tutorial on Sub-Portfolios might help explain better.
Thanks,
Mark
