Batch reports - pdf quality

Whenever I run a multi-report batch (Advisor version) with Adobe printer specified, the second report always has "fuzzy" text and graphics. It looks like a scan copy. All the other reports are nice and crisp, like you would expect from an original pdf document. Any theories?

1) What if you print to a regular printer, is that clear or fuzzy?

2) What if you try a different PDF printer, like PrimoPDF?
