Sharp Ratio

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Postby klvassalotti » Wed Nov 08, 2017 8:28 am

Hi, Mark. I upgraded to 2018 recently. I run a custom report that includes Sharp, Alpha and Beta stats. For some securities, the report shows -nan(ind) in the Sharp ratio field and -.79 in the Alpha field. Any idea what might be causing that? I didn't get that result in the previous version. I'm uploading a copy of the report.

Thanks,
Keith

Hi Keith,

Take a look at the log file. See "Help / Logs / Report Calculation...". This will explain any N/A figures.
Thanks,
Mark
