Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Postby larryw » Thu Mar 23, 2017 9:46 am

I've imported via qfx an investment activity file for a new portfolio. The import file was for the transfer in original data and it didn't contain OOP, market price, or tax cost basis.

I did a historical update and looked at the report. All but 2 of the investments have ^* after the name. I thought a * was to indicate interpolated value but each has OOP, Market value, and tax cost basis.

What do these two symbols mean?

Hi larryw,

If you look at the properties of the investment, are these characters maybe part of the "Name" field?
Thanks,
Mark

Thank you. I never thought of that as I'd never seen it any other portfolio. Sure enough they have those characters.
