Custom filters

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Mark,

Is there a way to build a custom field/filter. For example, I would like to run a report returning all investments by sub-portfolio with an ROI <= x% ?

Hi Mike,

You can't do a 'filter' for this, but you can run this report, and then sort by ROI. This way, you can see all the investments sorted by ROI, so you can quickly see which ones are above/below your 'x%'. After creating the report with the ROI field, see the top level "Sort" menu. You can sort by any displayed column, either in ascending or descending order.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi, Mark,

I will give it shot. Rather a back door approach and clearly more complex filters are not possible in the current Advisor verson. Oh, well....
