Customizing

I am evaluating Fund Mgr and would like to customize to a much greater extent than the custom report allows. Are there any work arounds for this that I might be missing?

What specifically are you looking to customize? Do you mean some other calculations not available in Fund Manager, or are you talking about the formatting, colors, fonts?

One report that I like keeps track of the portfolio by qrtr, i.e:

Hi paulstonge,

There is no report formatted in this way, and no option to do exactly this. I can think of a couple of options:

1) Use a report with multiple date ranges. You can have up to 6 in a given report. You can get the "Added/Withdrawn" and "Market Value" fields in a report. I'm not sure what "Index" would translate to in Fund Manager. You would have essentially the same report, but it would be transposed to horizontal instead of vertical.

2) Create a report with this information, and copy/paste the data to Excel, and make your report the way you're used to. See:
