Investment Performance Report

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Postby Sheldon » Sun Jul 13, 2025 4:35 pm

Hi Mark,

In the Investment Performance Report, I have set it up to use two time periods;
3/26/25 to 4/8/25
and
4/9/25 to current date.

I always save the portfolio before moving on to another portfolio.
When I come back to the first portfolio, the 4/8/25 end-date gets changed
to the current date. All the other dates remain unchanged.

Is there a way to save the end-date of the first time period?

Thanx, Sheldon
Sheldon

Hi Sheldon,

There are options that control the adjustment of report dates in portfolio saved reports. From within a report window, see "Options / Report Preferences... / Other / Portfolios:". The "Float End Date" option will cause all of the ending dates to float to the current date (or whatever option you choose for floating end dates). You can't set different float options for the multiple date ranges you have in a saved report, so you can either turn off "Float End Date" so that all of your dates get restored just as you last saved, or if you leave it on, all the end dates will float. See that dialog box for more options, and press "Help..." in there for a more detailed explanation.
Thanks,
Mark
