Hi dj,
In Fund Manager 10, you would create a Portfolio Value report, and then do "File / Export to CSV...". In Fund Manager 9 you can create the same Portfolio Value report, and then do "Edit / Copy to Text", and then paste it into Excel, and do a "Text to Columns" in excel, as it will come in a fixed width format.
Mark, I upgraded to version 10 and csv export works great, thanks. One other question, how do I have the Captial Gains report display the Symbol instead of the Investment name? thanks again dj
Hi dj,
Select "Options / General Preferences... / Display / Investment Description" and set it to "Symbol". This will affect more than just the Capital Gains report, it will affect wherever an investment description is needed. You may want to temporarily set it to Symbol, and then switch it back when you're done, whatever you prefer...
