more historical prices not downloading

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Also, if I try to update a single holding's historical value using the automatic price update, I'm not asked for the first and last dates that I want the historical update to cover. So I can only provide this range of dates when I download the entire portfolio, which then leaves me with the very general "one or more servers unable to download prices" message ... and puts me back in the position of having to look each value up manually.

Hi fez,

If you want to retrieve historical prices for a given investment, right mouse click on it and choose "Retrieve Selected Historical Price". This will use whatever quote server you have defined as your historical server under "Options / Internet Settings...". Assuming you have a historical type server selected here, you will be prompted for a date range.
