Mark:
As stated previously, I'm converting from MS Money. I'm in the process of matching lots, writing new reports and checking and cleaning up files after importing data. I want to use someone else to help do this. Question: can FM be used over a network, and can more than one individual work in the file at the same time? If not can the files be copied onto another computer for work and then copied back? I assume in either case the program would have to be loaded on both machines. Since this is a temp situation can a trial program be used for the second machine? Don't want to scrrew up files or operate outside of software license.

Thanks

Hi jnewton,

Fund Manager is not "networkable". Only 1 person can be working on a set of data files at a time. You can either copy all the data files (*.dat and *.mm4) from one computer to the other, or you can use "File / Backup..." and "File / Restore..." to transfer.

Yes, the program would need to be loaded on each machine where you're using it.

Yes, you could use the program in trial mode on the second machine. There are no functional limitations during the trial period.
Thanks,
Mark
