Restore data to portfolios

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Postby dickco » Wed Dec 26, 2007 7:55 am

Somehow my data became removed from their portfolios. They are still OK under investmentds, and their portfolio seems listed with each investment. I've tried dragging to no avail. How do I best restore them to their proper portfolios?
TIA

Hello dickco,

What do you mean by your data became removed from their portfolios? Which window are you looking at? The Portfolio Editor, some report or a graph? What are you seeing that is not as you expect?
Thanks,
Mark

Any of the above lack investment data. The Investment data transactions show the detail, but it is not visable in any portfolio view or report.

Where are you looking at the investment data transactions? Is this in the Data Register?

If you open up the Portfolio Editor, do you see your sub-portfolios on the left side? If you click on these sub-portfolios, do you see investments listed in them on the right?
Thanks,
Mark

Yes, sub portfolios appear on the left. No, investments do not. Sub portfolios are blank (one exception)

You mentioned before you can see the investment data transactions. Where are you looking at the investment data transactions? Is this in the Data Register? If you can see the investment transactions, then that investment must be located in some sub-portfolio.
Thanks,
Mark
