Hi Mark,

I recently installed a new application (ZSoft), which co-incidentally creates .dat files. I have a problem running it. I suspect that it may have something to do with my .dat files being associated with FM. Can you shed any light?

Hi Sheldon,

Usually having an un-defined association shouldn't cause problems. Associations really just help Windows determine what application to open when you double click on the data file. If you'd like, you can change the association to your other application, it will not affect Fund Manager's performance.
