Importing Trades into Fundmanager

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Postby designer » Sat Aug 15, 2009 1:18 pm

I have accounts in both Tradestation and Interactive Brokers and would like to import my historical trades into FundManager. I do not see them on the brokers list and was wondering how to import the trades the easiest way.

Hi designer,

To the best of our knowledge neither one of these brokers offers the required "Open Financial Exchange" server required to retrieve transactions automatically. You can however still download a file from their web sites, and then import this file with your transactions. I believe Interactive Brokers offers an OFX file download (maybe called MS Money download). You can then import this file into Fund Manager using "File / Import / Transactions / Open Financial Exchange (*.OFX)...".

For more on why some brokers aren't supported, please see:

Thanks,
Mark
