Investments not showing in Portfolio Editor

Hello Mark!

I hope you are very well. I have suddenly found out that an important number of investments don't show in Portfolio Editor, but they are there, the subportfolio's folder shows the accumulated data of the underlying investments and if I make a report the investments and transactions show, it is just that they don't appear in Portfolio Editor so I cannot work on them.

But from the report, thru "Detailed Data" I get to the register and see the transactions.

If you need screenshots I can attach them...

Hope it is some new parameter and I can fix this easily....

It sounds like they may be "hidden". If you turn on the option:

View / Hidden Investments/Portfolios

do you see them? If so, you might like to watch our tutorial on hiding investments.

The reason you may see them in Reports but not the Portfolio Editor is that reports have an option: "Display Hidden Investments with Activity".

Yes, effectively they appeared as turned the option to view them on.

But now the questions is: how could they have become hidden? I certainly did not hide them. Is there any option to mass hide cero value investments in a certain subportfolio that I may have accidentally clicked?

Hi remoreno,

The command:

File / File Operations / Hide Sold Investments...

is capable of bulk hiding investments based on whether or not they are still owned.

The other way to hide individual investments is under "Investment Properties... / Other".
