Contacts Folder

Hi,

Fund Manager is working fine but it thinks that the fund manager data folder is in the
users/name/onedrive/contacts folder
when it is really in the
users/name/onedrive/documents folder

I do not have a used or visible contacts folder, and I cannot redirect the data location in fund manager to the documents folder.

Everything is working fine, so I don't know if this needs to be fixed, but it is disconcerting.

Thank you for any input.
CGB

Hi CGB,

Are you saying these because you see the FM icon on some files in the contacts folder? If so, it is probably just because of the way file associations work in Windows. FM associates itself with the file extension *.dat. File Explorer will then show any file with the .dat extension using the FM icon. This does not mean those are FM files, but just that they have the .dat extension, which is currently associated with the FM app.

There is nothing wrong with this, and it won't cause any problems, but if you want, you can change file associations within Windows. In Settings, search for "Choose defaults by file type".

Hi,

No, nothing to do with icons. Just FM reporting in drop down that data is in the "contacts" folder, which does not exist.

Hi CGB,

How exactly are you seeing FM reporting data in this folder? Where in the program are you looking exactly? Maybe you can post a screenshot, or email me one.
