FM no longer reads FM.dat files??

I created a new portfolio and printed a report. All of the investments appeared. I shut down FM and reopened it several hours later. Some of the investments created in the earlier session no longer appear. The individual .DAT files are still in their original folder. I tried importing the individual .DAT files with no success. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would hate to have to start from scratch!

What if you use "File / Open Investment(s)..." to select these investment files? Do they open okay, or do you get some error?

I was able to integrate the files within the Portfolio by opening each investment - Thank you.
