General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Mark ,
I keep getting the following error and have no idea what is causing it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fund Manager
Bad Greeting. Socket error 10054, An existing connection
was forcibly closed by the remote host.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any idea what this is or how I can track it down. What caused this?

Hi Jim,

That sounds like an error that is happening when trying to send an email alert, and the email is failing. Check your alert settings under "Options / Alerts...". You can either turn off the "Send E-Mail Notification To:" option, or make sure your email settings are correct under the "Configure..." button. Use the "Test" button to verify.
