Advice on fund categories

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Probably dumb question but I'm trying to organize better.

What do you suggest ie for a High Yield Muni Bond Fund (looking at VWAHX)?

I see you can choose:
Type: No Load Fund or Bond (not both)
No Bond or Municipal etc to choose under other tags.

Should I do No Load Fund and add custom fields to Asset Type?
Or should I just call it a Bond?

Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe,

It is really up to you... You can also create your own investment types if you want to narrow down the types some. See "Options / Investment Type...".
Thanks,
Mark

I thought there might be a standard way.

So, I'm trying to figure out how to chart a single Investment Type or Asset Type.
I see Stacked Value->Investment Type but it shows all of them. Is there a way to plot one over time?

This started with me trying to see how my Bond funds are doing with the Fed rate changes.

Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe,

Sorry, no, you can't plot just one at a time. It might be a nice feature to add the ability to filter some of the graphs like this.
Thanks,
Mark
