Deleting a portfolio / start over

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Postby Glenn Hall » Wed Mar 30, 2022 4:36 pm

I have the latest update and I have a problem with one portfolio that I can not get to function correctly. I do not associate it with the update to 2022 as the problem existed in an older version.

How can I delete that portfolio and it's contents and start over with a new portfolio with the same name without interfering with my other portfolios when I do an transaction update?

Hi Glenn Hall,

If you are referring to a sub-portfolio, you can just use the Portfolio Editor window. Right mouse click on the sub-portfolio, and "Close" it.

If you are referring to a portfolio file (*.mm4), just use "File / Close Portfolio" and then go about re-creating whatever you'd like. Use "File / Save Portfolio As..." when you are done.
Thanks,
Mark
