Merge Portfolios into new Master

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

How do I merge two portfolios into a new master porfolio so that each of the two existing portfolios is now its own sub-portfolio? I want to continue to track the two portfolios (wife and I) separately but at the same time be able to generate reports on both. Thanks...

Hi andyg,

Do you mean you have two *.mm4 files now, and want to put them into a single *.mm4 file as sub-portfolios? If so, just use copy/paste. Open up the first *.mm4 file, select the sub-portfolio, and use "Edit / Copy". Open up the desired new *.mm4 file, and use "Edit / Paste". Repeat for the other one. This is demonstrated in this old tutorial:

Thanks,
Mark

Thank you, Mark. That was actually too easy.
