GettingCrumb

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I bring up a portfolio. I pull down Edit\Internet Retrieve\Historical Prices. I put in my dates and I click Retrieve Splits and OK. (that's all). A message pops up "Getting Crumb". Then it starts to send requests to the server. Receiving from server. Request 124 (0).

And nothing gets changed. The request number will go up over 400 but the number in the quotes will not change. Sometimes, it will all of a sudden say "Getting Crumb" again and the number in the quotes will start turning over too.

Until it "Gets Crumb" no prices will change. Sometimes it goes over 450 without changing anything.

Help. I figured everything I sent you in the email out.

Hello wizard348,

It sounds like you're trying to retrieve historical prices from Yahoo (Historical).

1) What version of FM and quote module are you using? See "Help / About...".
2) What is an example date range and ticker symbol that won't update?
