Help / Enter License Key?

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi Mark,
I've just upgraded to the latest version, but when I go to enter the license key (supposedly under Help / Enter License key), that option doesn't exist. All I have under Help are Contents, Help on..., Logs, FM on the Web, and About. I've scanned the other menus, but can't see it there either.

Hi Andrew,

That menu option won't be there if you've already entered your license. It sounds like maybe you need to first install the new version, and then enter your license.

I've tried installing it twice?

If I do a check for updates, it shows me;

Installed Available
Main Program: 2020.16.6 2020.16.6
Quote Module: 559 559
Transaction Module: 243 243

which would indicate its running the latest version. Is there any way of seeing if it still thinks this is an evaluation install - the About screen shows it as licensed to me?

Yes, "Help / About..." will show you the version you're using, as well as whether it is licensed or not. As long as it says 2020.16.6 for the version and that it is licensed to you, you're all set.
