Creating an Investment in a Fund Manager Portfolio

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Postby KarlMoor » Fri Apr 10, 2020 6:50 am

Hi Mark,
I have (for example) three portfolios which have their own investments, and all also own fractions of a fourth portfolio (which represents a fund that I manage). Is there a way to create this relationship within Fund Manager, so that the first three portfolios can "look through" to the fourth portfolio?

Thanks.

Hi KarlMoor,

You can use a "link" sub-portfolio to include it in other sub-portfolios, without duplicating data. You can't include only a fraction of a portfolio though. See this tutorial on sub-portfolios, and let me know if you still have questions.
Thanks,
Mark
