Web News and Portfolio New Investment Setting

Hi Mark,

Couple of questions (wasn't able to find in the documentation)
1. For Web news selection, is there a way to customize that,ie - instead of going to yahoo, can we set to go wsj or some other sites
2. For a new portfolio, lets say I have 10 investments/positions with my broker, but I am interested only in tracking 5 out of 10, I can do that by unselecting create new investments in the portfolio create options, however that appears to be a global settings across all Portfolios, is the a best practice way to do that?

Hi divinvest,

1) Yes, you can customize the URL. See "Options / General Preferences... / Menus / Web News URL:". Press "Help..." in that dialog for some keywords you can use in the URL.

2) I don't have a great suggestion here. You might just leave all 10 in the portfolio. You could hide them if you don't want to see them. Their balances would still be included in portfolio level calculations though.
