Unrlz Gain & Unrlz %Gain

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I see the following 2 fields available in portfolio editor main page
Unrlz Gain & Unrlz %Gain
Are there equivalent fields in the custom report that can be selected?

Hi divinest,

The Custom report has an equivalent to the "Unrlz Gain" field called:

Tax basis unrealized gain, Assigned Method

It doesn't however have exactly the "Unrlz %Gain", as that %gain is based on the tax unrealized gain/basis. You could write your own user-defined field using the formula:

100.0*Taxunrlzgain_Assigned/Taxbasis_Assigned

This feature requires Professional or Advisor.

In all versions you can get a % Gain based on OOP cost (instead of tax) using the built-in Custom field: %Gain (current)
Thanks,
Mark
