General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi,
i have some shares which have did lose there value. I asked by bank to elimate them from my portfolio, because they are valueless. The companies do no longer exist, or are insolvent.

With which transaction type should i eliminiate them?

Actually i used 'Redemption', but then the do not show up as loss in the 'Capital Gains' report.

What should i use instead?

Hi hzi5507,

A sell transaction would be correct. You would sell it for $0. It should show up in the Capital Gains report. Make sure the investment isn't marked as "tax-free", and the report date range is covering the sell transaction date.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for your support.
I changed it now, and the result is good.
