General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi, I want to create a several Fund portfolios with their own holdings which increase/decrease in value and assign that fund shares with a share price that will reflect it. And then have my clients who are holding that fund be able to buy/own shares of that fund. Is that possible in Fund Manager? Thanks!

Hi bwtrader,

You can definitely create a portfolio of holdings and track that. Fund Manager (despite its name) is not for managing actual mutual funds, where you have a pool of investors who own a varying percentage of a portfolio. It is designed for wholly owned portfolios, where each client owns a specific account.
Thanks,
Mark
