Portfolio shows value 'NA' after deletion of sub-portfolio

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Postby OneEyedMan » Tue Mar 28, 2017 6:56 am

I have recently created a sub-portfolio within an existing portfolio and subsequently deleted the sub-portfolio. Although all investments and values of holdings in the portfolio are being listed correctly, the total portfolio value is no longer shown - it just appears as 'NA'. As a result the total value of my master portfolio is also now appearing as NA.

Are you able to tell me how I might rectify this?

Hi OneEyedMan,

If a total value is displayed as N/A this means you have mixed currencies. You can confirm by turning on "View / Exchange Rate Adjusted". If that causes a value to show, then you know you have mixed currencies. If you don't intend for this, then make sure all your investments are assigned to your currency. You can read more in this FAQ:

Thanks,
Mark

 Many thanks Mark - that was the problem: a new investment had been entered with the currency shown as £ instead of GBP.
