Creating a Model Portfolio

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Is there a way to create model portfolios, ex- growth, balance, etc, and then assign them to a client(s)? I'm just getting started with this program. I thought I saw a tab that said "attach to a model portfolio" on the advisor version, but I can't seem to find it again. Thanks

Hi jffj,

Yes, you can. From within the Portfolio Editor window, right mouse click on a client's sub-portfolio, and choose "Properties...". You can assign the model portfolio there. Press "Help" in that dialog for info on how to use a model portfolio.

Model Portfolio
Optionally assign a model portfolio for this sub-portfolio. This feature is only available in the Advisor version. This model portfolio can be used in allocation targets for the Rebalance Report. It can also be utilized when exporting rebalance trades.
Thanks,
Mark
