Hello Mark,
For a few weeks I cannot update instruments that I have always been updating from Bloomberg, Yahoo Historical and Google Historical.
After another failed attempt I decided to update my quote server as well as transaction module.

After updating the above I got the msg as per the picture file.

What do I do now?????

Regards.

Hi fundman247,

Are you using FM 2014? If so, make sure you have version 2014.13.8. For more, see:

Hi fundman247,

What quote module # are you using? What quote server are you using? What symbol are you trying to retrieve from that quote server? Please read this:

Hi Mark,

I am trying from Yahoo Historical. My last date I managed to update was on 12-June-2016.
Info is Microsoft and the symbol is msft. I cannot update from any server and have 76 instruments in the portfolio. Even if I try to update a single instrument it still fails.

When I use the same symbol on the web site of Yahoo I get the correct graph but nothing via FM 2014.13.8

I have never in 10 years experienced any problems updating.

Hi fundman247,

I'm guessing you just need to update the quote module. There were recent changes on Yahoo, and we had to release an update. You can find the quote module you're using by looking under "Help / About...". What version of the quote module are you using? To get the latest quote module (currently 499) use "Help / Fund Manager on the Web / Check for Updates...".
Thanks,
Mark

I did update to the latest quote module in 13.7 when I got the digital signature error.

Module 493 was the one that failed after updating to 13.8. I have now updated to 499 and it is working fine.

Thanks for the information to sort it out.

Regards.

Hi fundman247,

Yes, Bloomberg was removed due to their Terms Of Service rules. We've added several other alternatives. You can see the full list, and information on each one here:

Hi Mark,

Any idea where I can get the price for Nigeria as well as shares listed in Hong Kong. Tencent = 700:hk Nigeria = NGSEINDX:IND and DJ Euro STOXX 50 = sx5e:ind.

Hi fundman247,

Not sure off the top of my head, but I'd try Yahoo and FondsCheck first:

Dear Mark,

Yahoo and FundsCheck does not have any Nigerian Equity market price quotes. My Fundmanager software has been renfered redundant because i cant source prices from the Bloomberg Quote server. I have search online for alternative quote server but there is no result. Please how can you help? Is the Bloomberg terms non-negotiable? Has your company reached-out to Bloomberg for an arrangement?

Hi Segunmichael,

Sorry about this. It is unfortunate about Bloomberg. We have looked into ways to add Bloomberg support, and it will require a Bloomberg subscription on your part. If you have a Bloomberg terminal, you can save prices to a file, and then import those into Fund Manager with "File / Import / Prices / Generic...".
Thanks,
Mark

Hello Mark,

Found something on Nigerian Equity Market data.

http://www.nse.com.ng/market-data/data- ... endor-list

It is a list of all the data vendors where Nigerian equities and indexes can be sourced from. The good part is that Reuters is one of them and you have their quote server on FundManager. I have already tried it for a stock and it worked. Could only source price though. Other market info (volume traded, high, etc) could not be fetched.

@Fundman247, Hope this helps?

Hi Segunmichael,

Thanks for sharing this information. If you look at that quote on Reuters, does it list the open/high/low/volume information? If so, can you give me a sample ticker that is only updating the close? I can try and take a look.
Thanks,
Mark
