Yahoo Finance changed their site yesterday, and the following quote servers are currently not working:

Yahoo (Historical)
Yahoo (Options)
Yahoo (Realtime)

We will be working on an update to restore them. You can check the status under "Help / FM on the Web / Check for Updates...".
Thanks,
Mark

Will the 10.x version be updated too? Thanks!

Hi Dennis,

No, there won't be an update for the 10.x versions. We provide free quote/transaction module updates for the last 2 major versions. To continue receiving free updates you need to maintain a license to one of these 2 versions. Currently, that is FM 2014 and FM 2016.
Thanks,
Mark

Is Yahoo (Adjusted Historical) a workaround?

Can't find a description of the difference between that and Yahoo (Historical). What is adjusted?

Hi Wayne McCracken 1,

See: https://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/int ... hooHistory

You could use Yahoo (Adjusted Historical), but if you are retrieving back past any distributions/splits, the prices will differ from actual closes. I would probably suggest just giving us a day or so. We are working on restoring these servers.
Thanks,
Mark

I upgraded to version 14.x and installed the recent updates. Works great.

Thanks for the quick response.

Mark - FYI: With new version & updated modules it seems to work this morning - but a bit strangely.

It retrieves at 0.00/sec for all stocks in alphabetic order to the end (i.e. nothing is being downloaded on this pass). It then starts again at the top of the alphabet, this time it actually appears to download prices.

Intended or a glitch? At least is seems to work in the end.

Thanks Mark. Hope you weren't up all night fixing this.

Hi Wayne McCracken 1,

Yes, this is to be expected when retrieving historical dividends or splits with the prices. The new update now takes multiple passes, doing splits first, dividends next, and finally prices. This is only in the Professional/Advisor versions, where this option is available. If you turn off the option to retrieve splits/dividends it will only take a single pass, and would be much faster. It just depends on what data you need.
Thanks,
Mark

I understand now. Thanks for the clarification. I usually have splits on and distributions off.

Never noticed this behavior in the past but may not have paid close attention.

Thanks

Hi, Mark. I'm running 2014.13.8 Pro and latest quote module 499, still not getting any prices updated with Yahoo Historical. Turned off dividends and splits, it runs through all the symbols but says none were updated at the end. Looking at intlog2.txt it contains a bunch of "moved temporarily" redirects, don't know if relevant or not. Win10, tried using Edge to paste same URL found in intlog2.txt but it just redirects to yahoo home page with an err=404 in the URL.

Is Yahoo Historical still supported for FM 2014?

Thx.

Hi tommcg,

Yes, Yahoo (Historical) is supported in Fund Manager 2014. Please try turning on this option:

Options / Internet Settings... / Proxy Server / Use Windows Settings

and see if that doesn't get Yahoo (Historical) working again. I just tested it from here with FM 2014.13.8 (499) and it is retrieving okay.
Thanks,
Mark
