Bought new computer

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Mark; i purchased a new computer and the guy that i had doing the cutover downloaded the Fund Manager software into my new computer. He got an "unlicensed Evaluation" copy of the Fund Manager. He then copied my data from my old computer to the new one. What needs to be done to the software downloaded to make the new one permanet? Thank you Chuck

Hi Chuck,

You need to enter your license. You do this under "Help / Enter License Key...". Make sure you have a license for the same version you have installed. If you need your license re-sent, you can request that here:

Mark; i guess i was not clear in my last message in that i did get the license key but when i tried to use the number using the recommended drop down the number would not register. Chuck

Hi Chuck,

Okay. In the license email you received it should show the version, like Personal 2016. Make sure you have the same version installed that your license is for. For example, if your license if for the Personal 2014 versions, make sure you've installed that version. See "Help / About..." to check the version number. This might be better handled over email, rather than on this forum. If you still have troubles, please send me an email and I can clarify what version you're licensed for, and where to get it.
