Is there a way to "unhide" sold investments other than changing one at a time through the "properties - other" field? thank you.

Hi Chris,

Yes. You can use "File / File Operations / Hide Sold Investments...". This dialog has an option to "un-hide non-sold investments" as well.
Thanks,
Mark

thanks but I'm trying to unhide sold investments for an entire portfolio, not unhide non-sold investments.

If you ever owned them, set the date range to cover the period where you owned them. Then, they will be considered owned, and you can un-hide them. The other option is to just turn on "View / Hidden Investments" if you just want to temporarily see everything.
Thanks,
Mark
