Portfolio File Errors

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I have one portfolio that locks up the program when I run a report. The other portfolios work fine. This portfolio acts correctly when I review the activity but locks up in a report.
I have backup up and restored the data but it didn't help. Are there any other file maintenance utilities available to identify the problem?

Hi steve at SFI,

Does it matter what report type or what report settings you use on this portfolio? Are you using version 2014.13.3?

If your data opens without error, then there isn't anything wrong with your data files. Maybe you've somehow created a very computationally intensive report, or there is a bug in Fund Manager. If you're creating a Custom report with a user-defined field, some of those can take a very long time to calculate, depending on the formulas specified.
