Import Positions from CSV?

I'm setting up a new client and have many positions I'd like to import -- unfortunately they're in a Vanguard Company Retirement Plan not the regular Vanguard retail site and I can dump to a csv file/Excel spreadsheet. I don't need the transaction history, just the starting positions. I can adjust the formatting of the csv file, but can I import positions from CSV? It doesn't show as an option.
