How to avoid hiden investments from porfolio perf reports

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I have a custom portfolio performance report generated per asset class. I have sold / hidden investments with 0 shares at the end date of the report. These investments do not show up in the report but seem to be included in overall performance of that asset class. How can i avoid including them ?

Hi sponge,

You can't exclude any investments from being included in overall totals. If they owned 0 shares throughout the period they won't have any impact, but if you did own some during the period, their effects are included. Hiding an investment just excludes it from being displayed itself, but everything included in a portfolio is always included in portfolio level calculations. If you really want to completely exclude some investment for some reason, then you can remove it from the sub-portfolio.
Thanks,
Mark
