Email Notification

How Do I set up an email notification for a web email address, i.e.; mailroy@gmail.com
I do not have an email server.

Usually you get access to a mail server through your Internet Service Provider. You can either use their mail server to send email, or gmail offers a free SMTP mail server you can use. The gmail SMTP server settings are currently:

Outgoing SMTP mail server: smtp.gmail.com
Authenticaion: ON (enter your gmail username and password)
Port: 465
This server requires a secure connection (SSL): ON

Thank you for the gmail SMTP server setup info. I'll put it to use.

Your Fund Manager would be so much easier for users if you allowed the use of simple web mail addresses without the technical requirement of SMTP server setup!

Okay, thanks for the feedback. Maybe we could have some easily selectable defaults for common mail servers, like gmail.
