Extremely small negative share fraction remaining?

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I recently sold an investment completely which should close it out, but the value is still being displayed as -1 cent. I believe the share value entered in Fund Manager might be barely off due to rounding, so it believes I now have a small negative share balance. Unfortunately, if that is the case, the share value is less than one thousandth (.001) of a share, so it is rounded down to nothing and I don't know how much to alter my final transaction to get rid of this negative balance.

Hi nagorak,

You can adjust the number of significant digits displayed in the Data Register. Use "Options / Preferences... / Display" and turn up the number of significant share digits to 6. You can then view/edit your transactions, so that you own 0 shares out to 6 significant digits. This should correct the problem.
Thanks,
Mark
