General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

How does Fund Manager handle options?

What naming convenrtion are used -- for example - is Exxon Mobil JAN 19 2013 call option with strike price 90 -XOM130119C90?

For portfolio record keeping - should selling a covered call be treated as a Short Transaction with correspoinding use of default cash account to keep total portfolio value correct?

Hi amorris101,

You can give options any name you want in Fund Manager. For retrieving prices though, you would want to record the symbol as it is on Yahoo. Visit Yahoo with your web browser, and look up the symbols they use for your options. Make sure your option investment is set to retrieve from "Yahoo (Options)". See "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve".
