Pricing securities

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Can I selectively price only securities with active shares? I want to keep historical info, but I do not need to price everything everytime. Also, how should I keep a watch list?

Hi lizobennett,

Yes, you can. Turn off the option to retrieve prices for your investments you don't want to update. You can either do this individually using "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve", or you can do it globally with the "File / File Operations / Hide Sold Investments..." menu command.

You may want to create a new sub-portfolio, and put investments in there you want to watch.
Thanks,
Mark
