General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I don't understand what does it mean "inception" ... from what date it's calculated? what is the difference from "earliest transaction" or "earliest price" . In other words, what date is considered as the beginning?

Hi mkappa74,

Inception usually means the first data point. The exact meaning varies depending on what figure you're looking at? The figure should explain in the documentation for what type of inception it is using.

Earliest transaction means the first buy or sell for example, where the earliest price means the earliest recorded closing price. Pricing and transactions are independent.
Thanks,
Mark
