General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi Alan, Thanks for the info. This Xetra server seems to index the prices by a combination of name and ISIN, which would make entering the symbol in FM difficult. Instead, we are considering adding this server: http://www.boerse-berlin.com/as it offers bonds, indexed by ISIN. It does offer the quote you mentioned, which you can see here: http://www.boerse-berlin.com/index.php/ ... 3FN0017612I'm wondering if you think this server would satisfy your bond quote needs?

Hi Alan, Okay, thanks for the help and feedback. We've just added this quote server to our list of supported servers. You can get the latest quote module (445) by going to "Help / FM on the Web / Check for Updates...". You will then see a new "Boerse Berlin - Bonds" quote server to use. Record the bond's ISIN as the symbol in Fund Manager to retrieve from this server. For more on this server, see: http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/intrtv.html#Berlin

Hi Alan,
Are they not available on Boerse Berlin or Boerse Stuttgart? If not, can you tell me the URL of the nzx site, and an example ISIN or whatever code you use to look them up on there?

Hi Alan,
Thanks for the help. That server does provide the "Price per $100" which would import as the bond's price. We will see about adding this server.

Hi Alan, We've just added this NZX server for bond quotes. You can use it with quote module 446, which you can get by selecting "Help / FM on the Web / Check for Updates...". For details on this server, see: http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/intrtv.html#NZXBonds

I am also struggling with some non-US securities and hope it's okay to resurrect this thread rather than starting anew. One example is a German ETF that Yahoo will retrieve today's price for (as 4Q5V.DE) but nothing historical. Is the website goyax.de potentially FM-friendly? The same ETF there: http://www.goyax.de/etf/deka-dax-aussch ... 000ETFL060

Hi HMI,
I didn't see historical prices there, but maybe it was because I couldn't read the site since it isn't in English... Is there some link I need to click on to see the historical prices?

Sorry for that, Mark (and thanks for the very fast response). OnVIsta may be a better bet. As an example, this gets the last ten years ("120M" at the end of the URL) for the ETF I mentioned above: http://www.onvista.de/etf/deka-dax-auss ... RANGE=120MThanks, Ian

I'm following up with a new post in case a reply is in progress. I did some more research and now understand that I should not have been using 4Q5V.DE for this ETF. That is the symbol for a DAX index that specifically tracks the "INAV" (indicative net asset value) for the ETF in question. ( http://www.dax-indices.com/EN/index.aspx?pageID=17) Using EL4F.DE instead brings successful FM retrievals via Yahoo and Yahoo historical. Sorry to have troubled you! Ian

Hi Ian,
Excellent, glad you figured out a solution using the existing servers.
