REcording transaction in different currencies

I'm currently using FM recording transaction related to $ investment while my default currencies is €.
I always got the problem with commission: even if I buy a $ investment, I pay commission in €.
FM translate commission from € to $ as it does with investment.
The only solution is to convert commission to $ ... or not?

Hi mkappa74,

If your investment is being traded in $, then all prices/transactions for that investment must be recorded in $. I think the best solution is the one you mentioned, where you convert the € commission into $ and record it that way as part of the transaction.
