restore backup from v4.7 to v10.6

In v4.7, I backed up my *.dat files to a flash drive in order to restore to the latest version. The 10.6 version is looking for *.FMB. How can I restore *.dat files from v4.7 to 10.6?

Hi vicl,

You would just copy your *.dat files to where you want to store them (maybe "My Documents \ Fund Manager") and then open them from there using "File / Open Investment(s)...". You would not use the "restore" feature in this case, this is not a backup file, they are investment files you can open directly.
