transfering FM data to new computer

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi Mark;
I backed up FM to a disk when I tried to run restore on Windows 7 I get the error message accesse denied. I tried twice with the same results.
I am using FM version 9.5 on Windows 7

Hi lbrandon,

Version 9.5 is not compatible with Windows 7. The 10.x versions are Windows 7 compatible.

When you run the restore, where are you restoring to? Also, are you restoring the global registry preferences?
