Fund manager register requires a password

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Postby schmoe » Thu Nov 12, 2009 7:43 pm

My old computer broke down, so I installed fund manager on a new computer. All went well, fund manager accepted my registration data. Later I decide to use fund manager from a different user account. I simply copied the fund manager short cut. I can launch fund manager, but when I try to register, the form has a password field. I don't know my password. I don't recall ever having to enter a password before. This sounds really strange. I am doing something wrong? If I give you my name is serial number, can you find the password?

Two other data points:
- This is fund manager 7.8
- The portfolio files are in a separate hard drive altogether, which can be accessed from either user.

Hello schmoe,

If you have access to the email address you used when initially purchasing, you can request your license key be re-sent to you by going here. If you do not have access to that email, please e-mail us your name and serial number and we can send you your license key.
Thanks,
Mark
