What happens to an investment in a portfolio after it has been closed? Is it deleted? Hidden? Parked? I closed one and now cannot find it.

I found that the closed investment is only closed, not deleted. Sorry to waste your time.

Hi daveholobaugh,

Glad you figured it out. Generally you do not want/need to "close" an investment that you have owned. If you owned an investment, and sold all of it, just "hide" it instead. This way it is still included in your portfolio's historical performance/records, but will not clutter your display. Once you hide an investment, you can use "View / Hidden Investments" to turn on/off the display of hidden investments. Whether or not this option is on/off, the historical returns/calculations for your portfolio will always include all investments, even hidden ones. For more on hiding investments, see:

Thanks,
Mark
