Sort order problem with a letter with diacritic

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi Mark,

I've bought some Ökoworld stocks.

In the right part of the Portfolio Editor, when sorted ascending by Name column, Ökoworld is at the bottom of the list, e.g. after the "Zscaler" stock > not correct order. Same problem in reports.

Interestingly the sort order is correct in the Investment drop down list in the Data Register.

Additionally, with the Find command, it would be nice if letters with diacritic could be considered as regular letters.

Eg;
- I search for "oko", Ökoworld is found
- I search for "remy", Rémy Cointreau is found

PS: but not a big deal. Removing diacritics in investment names is also reasonable...

Hi Djobydjoba,

Okay, understood. For now, I'd probably error on sticking with standard letters. Fund Manager uses the basic ASCII character set, and is not a Unicode app, so when using non-standard letters the results aren't always as expected.
Thanks,
Mark
