Wash Sales Across Multiple Portfolios

Can the wash sale rule account for wash sales across multiple portfolios? I have different brokerage accounts setup as separate portfolios. From my understanding of US tax laws, I need to account for wash sales as a whole across all accounts. Do I need a certain structure of portfolios to do this? Thanks!

Hi drdegroff,

Fund Manager does not support calculating wash sales across portfolios. When enabled, the wash sale rules are only calculated within a given investment.

OK, I think I understand. Just to be clear, if I have the "same" investment but in different portfolios, the wash sales won't be calculated?
